GLYCOSCIENCES AND GLYCOTECHNOLOGIES FOR MEDICINE – School for Young Researchers

The School organized by Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry RAS for young researchers will be held on September 24 2019 at ZIOC. Its goal is to discuss methods and results of interdisciplinary and translational carbohydrate (glyco) studies and their applications for design of specific glyco-drugs, vaccines and diagnostic agents.

The School will be held annually as an activity under RSF Grant19-73-30017 for world-class laboratories. The Program will also cover topics such as clinically significant mycobacterial and bacterial pathogens, various diseases caused by them and corresponding methods of diagnosis, immunotherapy and immunoprophylaxis using the latest developments in glycoscience and glycotechnology.
