The 16th International Congress on Catalysis was held on July 3 - 8 in Beijing. The ICC is the largest international forum on catalysis that has taken place once in four years since 1956. This ICC was devoted to the catalysis in the light of sustainable development and reflected the critical role of basic catalytic research and catalytic technologies in raising efficiency of power generation and natural resource use, renewable resources progressing and air emission reduction.
