The review written by the researcher from the Zelinsky Institute was published in a prestigious series
A review on the use of mass spectrometry for the analytical chemistry of carbohydrates written by Dr. Alexander O. Chizhov from the Laboratory of metallocomplex and nanoscale catalysts of the ZIOC, was published in the CRC Press collection “Mass spectrometry in Food analysis”. The review presents a brief history of the use of mass spectrometry for the study of carbohydrates and considers classical and novel methods of mass spectrometry for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex carbohydrates and the establishment of their structure.
The collection "Mass spectrometry in Food analysis" is a part of the "Food Analysis & Properties" series, devoted to the history and latest developments in the field of physicochemical methods for the analysis of food products and their components.
